Professor Dr. Hairul Nizam Ismail is the former Dean of the School of Educational Studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He received his PhD (Educational Psychology/ Instructional System Technology) from Indiana University-Bloomington, United States of America in 1999, with specialization in the area of learning and cognition. For the past eleven years, Prof. Dr. Hairul has been teaching university courses related to educational psychology, child psychology, cognitive psychology, guidance and counseling, multiple intelligences, gifted and talented, thinking and reasoning, and psychological testing.
Executive Director
Associate Professor Dr. Low Hui Min is a speech-language pathologist in the Special Education Program, School of Educational Studies, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She received her doctoral degree from La Trobe University, Australia. She specialises in teacher training on inclusive education and autism. She is an award-winning researcher and has won a number of teaching excellence and innovation awards. She also publishes extensively in academic journals, including Autism, Research in Autism Spectrum Disorder, and the International Journal of Inclusive Education.
Training Manager
Law Soon Hee (Steven) is a Senior Speech Swallowing Therapist with a strong foundation in speech pathology. He obtained a BSc degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Over the course of his dynamic 9-year career, he have had made significant contributions in both hospital settings and with the Penang Down Syndrome Association, demonstrating his strong dedication to improve the lives of individuals with speech and swallowing challenges. He is passionate about fostering communication and swallowing abilities, and he continually strive for excellence in his field to provide the best possible care for his patients.
Research & Development Manager
Dr. Ann Lee is a qualified professional with a Doctor of Philosophy in Special Education for Diverse Needs and a Master of Arts in Special Education for Diverse Needs from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Her diverse educational background also includes a BSc degree in Environmental Technology. She is passionate about inclusive education and have contributed to the field through research and publications in areas such as dyslexia, Braille, and autism spectrum disorder. Her mission is to make education accessible and effective for all learners, regardless of their unique needs.
